  • How can you help me as my Support Coordinator? I will help you understand and use the funded supports in your plan. Your supports will: - link you into local community, mainstream and government services - help you negotiate with providers to get the best deal - build your confidence to control your choices
  • - optimise your plan so you get the most out of your funding.

  • What can you do as my Support Coordinator? I can help you:
  • - make connections in the community and broader systems - understand your plan funding and its purpose - understand the support options available and help you get them - resolve problems and crises - by coaching you through challenges you might face.

  • What can't you do as my Support Coordinator ? I can't be paid for advocacy, but I can come with you to meetings for support. I don't provide personal care, manage staff or look after rostering.
  • How do I pay for Support Coordination and what do you charge? I'm paid from your NDIS funds. Some people have money allocated in their plan for support coordination. Most organisations charge the maximum rate of over $100 per hour; I charge $95 per hour so you get more hours of support with your funding.

  • What is Plan Mentoring and how can it help me?
  • Plan mentoring is for people who don't have dedicated support coordination funding. I will help you understand your plan, and find and get the best services for you. This service is especially helpful when you have a new plan. Plan mentoring is charged at $74 per hour.
  • Can MiPlan Sorted support all NDIS participants? MiPlan Sorted supports people with plan-managed and self-managed funding. I can help you change from being agency-managed to being plan-managed if you want to make that move. I'm happy to talk with you about your options.
  • How long can I expect to wait for my first appointment after contacting you? You'll have your first appointment usually within a week, and definitely within a fortnight.
  • What type of appointments do you offer? Will you come to my home?
  • I offer appointments in person, by phone, and online using Zoom, Telehealth and Facebook Messenger video.
  • And yes, I can meet you at your home if that's your preference. Meeting choice is entirely up to you.
  • Can I have an after-hours appointment? You can have evening or Saturday Zoom appointments by arrangement. Email me at tracey@miplansorted.com.au.
